Pengaruh strategi koping terhadap stress pada masyarakat di era pandemi COVID-19

Abstract

Pandemi corona menjadi krisis global yang parah, memengaruhi kesehatan fisik dan psikologis. Aturan lock-down yang diberlakukan untuk melawan pertumbuhan COVID-19 yang cepat, terutama pembatasan sosial, menyebabkan faktor risiko untuk mengembangkan gejala stress. Stress tersebut dapat dialami oleh semua kalangan baik itu pada masyarakat umum, pelajar atau bahkan tenaga kesehatan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh strategi koping terhadap stress di masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain cross-sectional. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua masyarakat yang ada di Dusun Kapringan Desa Dukuhklopo, Peterongan Jombang sebanyak 156 orang dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 responden dengan menggunakan teknik pengambilan sampel simple random sampling. Strategi koping merupakan variabel independen dan stress menjadi variabel dependen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan kuesioner dan dilakukan secara online. Pengolahan data dengan editing, koding, skoring, tabulating dan analisis menggunakan uji statistik Korelasi Spearman’s rho dengan alpha 0,05. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi koping baik dengan stress ringan sebanyak 14 responden (28%). Hasil dari uji statistik menggunakan Spearman’s rho memiliki nilai signifikansi 0,003 ( < alpha 0,05) sehingga hipotesis alternatifnya diterima. Kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini adalah ada pengaruh strategi koping dengan stress pada masyarakat di Dusun Kapringan Desa Dukuhklopo, Peterongan Jombang.
