THE INFLUENCE OF RELAXATION TECHNIQUE OF DEEP BREATHING AGAINS PAIN INTENSITY ON POST OP FRACTURE’S PATIENT (STUDY IN ASOKA ROOM JOMBANG)
Abstract
Each post op fracture’s patient will definitely experience pain due to the process of the surgery and thesystem injury. Generally health worker just applied in pharmacology but there are still ways of nonpharmacological could help to lower the pain effectively, one of which is in relaxation technique of deepbreathing. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of relaxation techniques of deep breathingagainst pain intensity on post op fracture’s patient. This research design uses pre experiments with onegrouppretest-postest design. The population of this research are patients post op fracture with PurposiveSampling sampling and taking with a total sample of 28 people. The independent variable in this study isrelaxation technique of deep breathing, whereas variables dependent is a decrease intensity of the pain. Datawas collected using the observation sheet with data analysis using statistical tests Willcoxon (α = 0.05). Theresults showed that relaxation techniques of deep breathing in effect on the intensity of pain that is severepain from the previous 17 to 8 people. There is a connection between breath relaxation techniques in takingaction against the intensity of the patient's pain post op fracture with the results of the test statistics p =0.000. The conclusion of relaxation techniques of deep breathing in having an impact on decreasing pain inpatients post op fracture.
