Stroke has become an enormous and serious health problem. At nerve policlinic general hospital rnJombang in Januari there are 4716 patients in 2014. Stroke is causing disability patiens to take care rnof themselves and do their own activity daily of living. This problem is cause of knowledge deficit and rnlack of patient’s role active in course of healing. The aims of research is indentifying influence of self rncare management’s counselling to ischemic stroke’s patiens post out of hospital’s independence into rnactivity daily of living accomplishment. rnThe kind of research is experiment. Design approach used one group pre post test design. Techniques rnof sampling used purposive sampling with 50 populations and 21 sample.variable in this research is rnself care management counselling and ischemic stroke’s out patients independence into activity daily rnof living accomplishment. Statistical analysis is use Wilcoxon Sign Rank Test with significant rate α = rn0,05. This research doing 1 month, in first and second week giving intervention slef care rnmanagement, third week intervention not to do and forth week doing observation. rnThe research result show that on pre test almost entire all respondent (80,95%) or 17 samples in light rndepended and 4 samples in midle depended. While on post test result show that almost of half rn(42,85%) or 9 respondents in self supporting category and 12 samples in light depended. The result of rnstatistical analysis show that ρ = 0,002, ρ ≤ α.rnThe conclusion of this research is there was an influence of self care management counselling to rnimproving ischemic stroke’s out patients independence into activity daily of living accomplishment. rnThis research to be hope can imrpoving quality of life and independence for stroke patient. This result rncan become the information’s source and basic to gift intervention for post stroke patient.rnUsed thist result to give intervention of self care management at nerve policlinic and used family rnsupport to get maximal result.rnKey word : Self Care Management, Independence, Stroke, Counselling
