Diarrhea is one of the major health problems for children under the age of 5 years worldwide.rnThe incidence of diarrhea in Indonesia in 2013 about 60 million events, the majority (70-80%) ofrnthese patients were Children under Five Years (CHILDREN), the majority of patients (1 to 2%)rnwill become dehydrated. Prevention of diarrhea is still less attention, less parents maintainrnhygiene and cleanliness of the digestion, the condition that is causing the increased incidence ofrndiarrhea in infants. This study aims attitude with diarrhea prevention behaviors of children agedrn1-4 years.rnThe design of this research used cross sectional the method sampling that used was simpel randomrnsampling.population all mother that owned children ia 1-4 years old in village padurungan subrndistricts tanah merah bangkalan were 72 persons.the free variable in this research was attitudernand behavior ainmed at prevention diarrhea occasion of childrenin age of 1-4 years old.thernanalysis analysed use chi square.rnThe results of the research found that attitude of mother in the prevention diarrhea occasion in 1-4rnyears old from 61 respondents were know that half of the respondents to be negative attitudern50,8% and to be positive attitude 49,2%.the mother behavior aimed of diarrhea occasion of 1-4rnyears old was know more than half respondents were negative behave as much as 52,5%,and thernfraction were positive asmuch as 47,5%.the test result of chi square was shows value that signrn= 0,001 < 0,005 was accepted.rnThere conlasion from this research was find relationship between attitude and behavior of thernchildren of 1-4 years old.this research expected to impove mother attitude and behavior of therndiarrhear occasion.this research expect will become source of study and reference of universityrnstudent for doing sub mission for the society.rnKeywords ; Attitude, Behavior aimed of diarrhea occasion.
