Coping and attitude is necessary for adolescents as a basis for action. Adaptive coping style that willrnproduce positive adolescent attitudes and vice versa. Therefore, it is necessary to approach from all rnstakeholders, especially parents and teachers so that teens do not have a maladaptive coping style in whichrnthis coping style tend to solve problems with negative actions. The design of this study using a cross-sectional". The sample was mostly class X MAN Jombang Rejoso Peterongan number of 66 students selectedrnby using the technique of "Proportional random sampling". The population in this study is 262 students. rnIndependent variables and the dependent variable individual coping attitudes about teen drug abuse. Data rnwere collected by distributing questionnaires to the respondents by using statistical test method "Chi rnSquare". The results showed that adaptive coping respondents have a total of 32 respondents (48.5%)
