The mother’s education level can be used effects due to family health education can reduce rnhisresignation when sick. This study aimed at identifying the influence of health education toward rnmather’s attitude in prevention acute respiratory infections to child 1 – 4 years old.rnThe research is pre experimental with Design one group pretest – posttest design. The population rnis all mother who have children Acute Respiratory Infections with research sample of 34 rnrespondents. Technique take of movie sample is simple random sampling. Measuring instrument’s rnused to measure before attitude and after attitude Health Education is questionare. Data analyzed rnby test statistic wilcoxon sign rank test.rnThe showed result mother’s largely ( 67,6%) or 23 respondents have to negative attitude, halfnear rn(32,4%) or 11 respondents have to positive attitude whereas the posttest result available mother’s rnlargely (64,7%) or 22 respondents have to positive attitude, halfnear (35,3%) or 12 respondents rnhave to negative attitude. The result test statistic sign rank test ( p = 0,022 < α = 0,05) so that H1 rnis accepted.rnThe study showed that there was influence of health education in change mother’s attitude of a rnpositive attitude into a negative attitude.rnKeyword : Health education, Attitude , Acute respiratory infections
