PENGARUH JAJANAN SEKOLAH DENGAN STATUS GIZI ANAK USIA SEKOLAH rnUSIA 6-12 TAHUN DI SDN TLANDUNG KECAMATAN BANYUATES KABUPATEN rnSAMPANG TAHUN 2014
Growth of optimal school age children depends on nutrition provision with good and true quality rnand quantity. Food and snacks that did not meet the requirements of health and nutrition would rnthreaten the health of children. Empowerment minister said that about 6.7 million school age rnchildren or 27.3% of all school age children in Indonesia suffered from malnutrition. The purpose rnof this study was to identify influence relationship of school snacks with nutritional status of school rnchildren aged 6-12 years.rnThe design study used was observational analytic with cross sectional approach, the data retrieved rnby using a questionnaire, The instrument of this study used interview that have been tested with rnvalidity and reliability test. School children at elementary school of Tlandung Banyuates Sampang rnRegency was as many as 46 children. The sampling technique used random sampling or rnindiscriminately. There were two variables of this study; Independent variable was the influence of rnschool snacks and dependent variable was nutritional status of school children aged 6-12 years. rnThe hypothesis test used was Spearman rank correlation (Rho).rnResult obtained was most of respondents (58.7%) positively was influenced by school snacks. the rnmajority of respondents (58.7%) had less nutrition. Analysis result of school snacks influence with rnnutritional status of school children was obtained correlation value 0,440 with probability value rn(0,002) significantly lower standard of 0,05 or ( < ), then the hypothesis (Hi) was accepted.rnThe conclusion of this study was any influence of school snacks from 46 respondents with rnnutritional status of school children aged 6-12 years at elementary school of Tlandung Banyuates rndistrict Sampang Regency. One of the important and fundamental attitude as a problem of the rnoccurrence of malnutrition was the attitude of individual snack and food choice which was not in rnaccordance with the rules of nutrition, therefore awareness efforts in nutrition for elementary rnschool children need to be improved so that elementary school children know good and nutritious rnfood and snacks. The most effective effort was to provide health education at school about healthy rnsnacks.rnKeywords : School snacks and nutritional status of school children
