Being anursein the hospitalis a very heavy job, which required a strong work motivation to achieve optimal rnserviceof patients. To achieve this nurses should avoid factors that affect work motivation, that is stress. Thernpurpose ofthis study to determinerelation of nurse’s stress with nurse’s work motivation. The design method rnused in this study was Cross Sectional. The population was all nursesin Ngimbang Hospital a number of 51 rnnurses. Sampling method used was total Sampling. On 16 June 2014. The research data is retrieved by using rna questionnaire at the time in hospital. Independent variable was nurse’s stress and the dependent variable rnwas the nurse’s work motivation. Data processing with editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. After tabulated rnthe data analyzed used Rank Spearman Correlation test with an error rate 0,05. The results showed that the rnstress nurses on the category of immune stress as many as 28 people (54,9%), less immune to stress as many rnas 14 people (27,5%),and not immune to stress as much as 9 people (17,6%). Nurses work motivation is on rnthe strong categoryas many as 27 people (52,9%),categories are as many as 17 people (33,3%),and category rnweak as many as 7 people (13,7%). While the results obtained from the statistical test that there is a rnrelationship of stress nurses with nurses work motivation with an error rate 0,001 (p < 0,05). The conclusion rnfrom this studyis that there is a stress nurses at the hospital are mostly in the category of immune stress. And rnmotivation nurses working in hospital in the most powerful category. And then a relationship between stress rnnurses with nurses work motivation in Ngimbang hospital Lamongan,East Java.rnKeywords : stress, work motivation, and nurse.
