Plumonary tuberculosis is a disease that has long been known and is still being a leading cause of rndeath in the world. In Indonesian Tuberculosis is still a scourge for the country including endemic rnarea. Transmission of this disease through the intercession of saliva or sputum of patients with rnpulmonary tuberculosis bacilli contain. The purpose of this study was to identify the attitudes of rnfamilies in the prevention of pulmonary Tuberculosis disease in Hamlet Gebang Village BulurejornDistrict of Diwek Jombang. rnDesign of research used a descriptive. The population of all families in the hamlet Gebang villagernBulurejo District of Diwek Jombang as number of 160 people with 114 respondents. Samplingrntechniques used by simple random sampling. Variable was the attitude of the family in the rnprevention of pulmonary tuberculosis disease. Instrument research was using questionnaires. rnProcessing and analysis of data was using the editing, coding, scoring and tabulating. rnThe results obtained based on Table 5.6 it is known that most of the attitude of the family in the rnprevention of pulmonary TB disease was positive in 61 (53.5%).rnThe conclusion was that most of the attitude of the family in the prevention of pulmonary TBrndisease was positive in 61 (53.5%) and negative in 53 people (46.5%). According to researchers of rnrespondents who are positive in the prevention of pulmonary Tuberculosis disease is influenced byrnpositive thinking and new insights from educational institutions or healthcare institutions. As forrnthe respondents to be negatively influenced by negative thoughts, emotions are unstable, so it gave rnrise to the tendency of negative attitudes. rnKeywords: attitude, family, pulmonary tuberculosis
