Sexually transmitted disease does not only make ashamed and awkward, but also make serious problems in health such as infertility, chronic syphilis, and AIDS. According to a study on April 8, 2014 in Kabuh village, 8 people have sexually transmitted disease while 2 people do not. The aim of this research is to identify the knowledge and attitude of unemployed mothers about sexually transmitted disease.rnDesign of this research is descriptive using survey approach. Variable is knowledge and attitude of unemployed mothers about sexually transmitted disease. Population is all unemployed mothers in Kabuh village with a number of 182 respondents using purposive sampling and sample with a number of 46 respondents. The instruments used are questionnaire and data analysis used editing, coding, scoring, and tabulating. rnFrom this research on knowledge of unemployed mothers can be found that 27 respondents (58,7%) have less knowledge. While the attitude of unemployed mothers can be found that 24 respondents (52,2%) have a positive attitude.rnResult of this research can be found that the knowledge and attitude of unemployed mothers about sexually transmitted disease is they have less knowledge and have a positive attitude. Suggestion is socializing, and giving information in educative manner, efficiency, and effective about sexually transmitted disease.rn.rnKey words: knowledge, attitude, unemployed mother, sexually transmitted disease.rn
