The prevalence of smokers in Indonesia among adolescents ages 15 years through 19 years ofrn(37.3%). Based on preliminary studies in a manner interviewed on March 18, 2014 at SMK BaktirnDwija 2, District Jombang, Regency Jombang on the ten young men, all students in class tenrnobtained never smoked cigarettes. The purpose of this study was to identify the attitude of youngrnpeople in efforts to prevent the danger of sucking Cigarettes In SMK Dwija Bakti 2, DistrictrnJombang, Jombang, East Java province of Indonesia.rnIn this study the authors used descriptive research methods. This research design using a surveyrnapproaching . With a population of sixty three students in SMK Bakti Dwija 2, District Jombang,rnRegency Jombang. Sampling technique that is proportional random sampling. Variable behavior ofrnteenagers in danger of sucking Cigarettes prevention. The instrument used was a questionnairernwith analysis data processing Editing, Scoring, Coding, and Tabulating.rnThe results showed that the attitude of young people in efforts to prevent the dangers of smokingrncigarettes as a negative attitude and who do not smoke cigarettes positive attitude, that thernmajority of respondents had a negative attitude were 34 respondents (53.97%), and the positivernattitude of a number of 29 respondents (46.03%), Conclusions adolescent attitude in efforts tornprevent the danger of smoking cigarettes mostly negative.rnIt is expected that adolescents are more active in seeking information about the dangers of smokingrncigarettes, both from health professionals, electronic media or print media.rnKeywords: Adolescents, Danger smoking cigarettes, Attitude
