The result of learning is student achievement in a particular field of study using standardized tests as a means of measuring the success of one's learning. The results of preliminary observations on student achievement SMPN1 Mojowarno class VIII, shows that student achievement remains largely below the minimum completeness criteria, so it can be called that student achievement is low. Of the four classes obtained as much as 54.29% of the 120 students who received grades above passing grade standard value of 65 and a lack of facilities to enable learning to use the media exerts animations in every classroom. This study aims to analyze the relationship of media use of animation in learning directly with improved learning outcomes biology subjects. Research methods using experimental one group pre-test-post-test. The population of all eighth grade students at SMP 1 Mojowarno as many as 120 students. The sample in this study is part of a class VIII student at SMPN1 Mojowarno totaling 54 students. The sampling technique used is proportional simple random sampling. The independent variable in this study is the improvement of learning outcomes, while the dependent variable in this study is the use of animation media on direct learning. Collecting data using RPP and Kuesioner. Data processing using editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. The results showed nearly half of 19 (35.2%) of students have good value and quite the biological subjects prior to learning using the medium of animation, while most of the 39 (72.2%) students had very good grades in the subjects of biology after learning using the medium of animation.
