Awareness of healthy living is important to provide early and from the sometimes underrated, one of which isrndental health. Dental problems into parts that almost met by most children. Based on preliminary studiesrnwere carried out on March 18, 2014 at SDN Candimulyo IV Jombang on ten students showed that eight ofrnthem experienced dental caries and two that do not have dental caries. And only one out of ten students whornknow how to brush their teeth nearly correct. This study was conducted in March and ending in June 2014 inrnthe District of SDN Candimulyo IV Jombang Jombang Jombang. The design of this study is One Shot CasernStudy or Posttest Only Design. The population is population is all students aged 8 and 9 years at SDNrnCandimulyo IV Jombang District Jombang Regency Jombang amounting to 72 students. The techniquernsampling used is total sampling. The number of respondents is divided by 2, so we get 36 respondersrnreceived a lecture demonstration and 36 get method. Retrieval of data using a questionnaire that after beingrngiven health education and testing that are used are Chi Square. Based on the results of research conductedrnin SDN Candimulyo IV Jombang District Jombang Regency can be concluded that 20 respondents (27.8%)rnhad a positive attitude with the lecture method and 29 respondents (40.3%) had a positive attitude with thernmethod of demonstration. And Chi Square test results showed that X2 is greater than the value of the table.rnIe, 5.175 is greater than 3.84, it can be stated that H1 is accepted or there are differences in education with arnlecture and demonstration methods on students' attitudes toward dental care in preventing dental caries inrnSDN Candimulyo IV Jombang District Jombang Regency. The Conclusion of this study is there is therndifferences in education with a lecture and demonstration methods on students' attitudes toward dental carernin preventing dental caries in SDN Candimulyo IV Jombang District Jombang Regency.rnKeywords: Health Education, Dental Care, Attitudes and Dental Caries
