PENGARUH PENYULUHAN KESEHATAN TENTANG KANKER SERVIKS TERHADAP MOTIVASIrnDALAM MELAKUKAN DETEKSI DINIrnKANKER SERVIKS PADA WANITArnUSIA 20-65 TAHUN
Cervical cancer is the most common malignancy found in Indonesia. Every one hour Indonesian’s woman died because of cancer in the last three decades. The high mortality was due to the delay in treatment, approximately 70% comes with advanced stages of the condition. This study aims to analyze the effect of health education towards motivation in cervical cancer early detection of cervical cancer in women aged 20-65 years. The research used Pre Experimental design with The One - Group Pre - Test - Post test . The population of women aged 20-65 years in the Dusun Cangkringan Desa Blimbing Kecamatan Gudo Kabupaten Jombang as many as 202 people. Sampling techniques used simple random sampling of 50 respondents (n=50). Instrument on this research used questionnaires and SAP with Wilcoxon statistical test. The results of research on the motivation of the respondents in the early detection of cervical cancer before giving health education included in the category of motivation was that a number of 32 respondents (64%). And after health education be strong motivation that a number of 37 respondents (74%). The Wilcoxon test showed a significance value of ρ (0.000) < α (0.05), so Ho is rejected. Conclusion is there the effect of health education about cervical cancer on motivation in cervical cancer early detection in women aged 20-65 years.rnKey words: Health Education, cervical cancer, Motivation, Women aged 20-65 years
