Toilet training was the practice to implant the ability of children to urinate and cleaned the bowel activities on its place. Toilet training could be take place in the children’s life in the age of 18 – 24 months old, because in that age the children had been have a language capability to understand and communicate. But most of the children in the age of 5 years old still like to clean the bowel and urinate in the wrong place that attain 15% - 20%. Then the children in the age of 10 years old attain 7%. So, because of that the researcher wants to know the knowledge from the parent, especially the parent who had the children in the age of 18 – 24 months old about toilet training .Research design was descriptive, which the population of all mothers who had the child in the age of 18 – 24 months old in Sedap Malam center for pre- and postnatal health care and information Dsn. Sukorejo Kec. Perak Kab. Jombang totally 23 people with technique of collecting data used total sampling. Research variable was the mother’s knowledge in implementing toilet training for children in the age of 18 – 24 months old. Measure instrument used questioner, while the tabulation of data which did by editing, coding, scoring, tabulating used Guttman scale.Result of the research showed the mother’s knowledge in implementing toilet training for children in the age of 18 – 24 months old in Sedap Malam center for pre- and postnatal health care and information Dsn. Sukorejo Kec. Perak Kab. Jombang were more than half-respondent had good knowledge totally 16 respondents (69.56%), enough knowledge totally 4 respondents (17.40%), and less knowledge totally 3 respondents (13.04%).It can be concluded that most of the mothers' knowledge in implementing toilet training for children in the age of 18 – 24 months old at Sedap Malam center for pre- and postnatal health care and information dsn. sukorejo kec. perak kab. Jombang were had good knowledge. So, the parents are hoped to be able in implementing and teaching toilet training to their children earlier.rnKey words: knowledge, mother, toilet training, children.
