BEHAVIOR OF MOTHERS TO USE KB PILLrn(Study In Gumulan Village, Kecamatan Kesamben, Kabupaten Jombang Province of East Java)

Contraceptions are efforts to prevent pregnancy. The efforts can be temporary or permanent. One of them is hormonal contraception like contraception pill, injection and implant. KB pill is kind of contraception many used. KB Pill is liked because it is easy to get and use, also cheap price. But many acceptors of KB Pill choose drop out cause mothers haven’t understood well how to use KB Pill so that it has effect to irregular behavior of mothers to consume KB Pill. By result of survey held on 26 April 2014 by interview method in area of Kesamben known that from 10 KB pill users, 3 among them say drinking KB pill regularly and 7 of them say drinking KB pill irregularly. The objective of this research to know behavior of mother to use KB pill in Gumulan village, Kecamatan Kesamben, Kabupaten Jombang. Design of research is Survey with kind of research is descriptive research. Population are all mother acceptors of KB pill in Gumulan village, Kecamatan Kesamben, Kabupaten Jombang a number of 15 persons. Sampling technique used is Total sampling. Data collected by questionnaire, then data managed by using editing, coding, scoring and tabulating. Result of research known that behavior of mothers to use KB Pill in Gumulan village, Kecamatan Kesamben, Kabupaten Jombang are negative behavior a number of 8 respondents (53,3%) and positive behavior a number of 7 respondents (46,7%). Conclusion of behavior of mother to use KB Pill in Gumulan village are most of them have negative behavior.rnKeywords : Behavior, Mother, Contraception, KB Pillrn
