KNOWLEDGE AND ATTITUDE OF YOUNG WOMEN AGED 16-19 YEARS OF ANEMIA (Study in 5 MAN Jombang)

Unfortunate lack of knowledge of adolescents about anemia, juvenile attitude now generally consume more plant-based foods for iron bit. The purpose of the study to describe the knowledge and attitudes of young women aged 16-19 years about anemia. Descriptive research design, the population is all the student of class X and XI 5 MAN Jombang as many as 92 people, the entire population is used as a sample. With a total sampling technique. Instrument in this study was a questionnaire. Based on the research, that the knowledge of young women aged 16-19 years on anemia in 5 MAN Jombang were 55 respondents (60%) knowledgeable enough, 36 respondents (39%) less, and 1 respondent (1%) either. The attitude of young women aged 16-19 years on anemia in 5 MAN Jombang is 55 respondents (60%) being negative, and 37 respondents (40%) positive. It can be concluded that the knowledge of young women ages 16-19 years of anemia in general enough, and attitudes of young women about anemia in general negative. Suggested teacher educators provide additional material on anemia, or done counseling so students gain knowledge about anemia.
