There is still a lack of awareness of Indonesian women in the early detection of breast rncancer, even many Indonesian women do not know how early detection of breast cancer rnto be one of cause of breast cancer incidence rates large enough apart from factors of rnunhealthy lifestyle. Simple examination for early detection of Anomalies that occur in the rnbreast is to examine their own breasts or termed realize. The purpose of the study rnidentified the attitudes of young women about early detection of breast cancer with BSE. rnPreliminary studies were conducted in 5 MAN Jombang of Jombang regency.rnThe study design was descriptive. With a population of young women in the class X andrnXI MAN 5 Jombang of Jombang regency East Java amounted to 92 people with 92 rnsamples of respondents. Total sampling using sampling techniques. The variable is the rnattitude of young women about breast cancer early detection with BSE, the instrument rnused in this study is a questionnaire, the data processing through the stages of editing, rncoding, scoring and tabulating and analyzing the data using a frequency distribution rnapproach.rnBased on the results, the attitude of the young women about early detection of breast rncancer with BSE are being negative by 49 respondents (53%), and a positive attitude as rnmuch as 43 respondents (47%).rnThe conclusion of this study is the attitude of young women about early detection of rnbreast cancer with BSE is being negative.rnKeywords: Attitude, BSE (Breast Self Examination), Young Women
