HUBUNGAN ANTARA RIWAYAT KURANG ENERGI KRONIK PADA IBU HAMIL DENGAN KEJADIAN STUNTING PADA BALITA STUDI DI DESA PEJOK KECAMATAN KEDUNGADEM KABUPATEN BOJONEGORO
Toddler is one of the age groups that are prone to nutrition. One of the main nutritional problems in toddlers is chronic nutrition or also called stunting. Malnutrition occurs since the baby is in the womb and in the early period after the baby is born however, the condition of stunting only appears after the baby is 2 years old. This study aims to analyze the relationship between a history of chronic energy deficiency in pregnant women and the incidence of stunting in infants.
This study uses a correlational analytic design with a retrospective approach, the population is all mothers and toddlers in Pejok Village, Kedungadem District, Bojonegoro Regency in July 2020, as many as 167 people. The sample is 118 respondents whose selection is done by simple random sampling. Data collection using secondary data with observation sheets, and analyzed using statistical analysis of coefficient coefficient with a significance level of 0.05.
The results of 118 respondents showed that, most of them had no history of SEZ during pregnancy, as many as 80 respondents (67.8%), the majority of toddlers were not stunting, as many as 84 respondents (71.2%) and there was a relationship between a history of chronic energy deficiency. in pregnant women with stunting in infants in Pejok Village, Kedungadem District, Bojonegoro Regency in 2020 with a p-value of 0,000 and r value of 0.564.
Based on these results it can be concluded that toddlers in mothers who have a history of chronic lack of energy during pregnancy have a higher risk of experiencing stunting in the future. Malnutrition occurs since the baby is in the womb and in the early days of the child is born, but Stunting only appears after the child is 2 years old.
