PERILAKU IBU DALAM PENCEGAHAN DEMAM BERDARAHAN PADA BALITA (Studi di Desa Selorejo, Kec Mojowarno, Kab Jombang)

An increase from year to year cases of dengue fever to children in asia countries in infants. WHO stated that about 50-100 million cases dengue fever each year. Based on a preliminary study on 10 march 2014 in the selorejo village of 11 mothers known that 6 mothers in measures prevention dengue fever are still lacking, the purpose of this research is to study the behavior of mother in the prevention of dengue fever to children in Selorejo village, Mojowarno subdistrict,Jombangregency. Types of research used in this study was a descriptive study. Sampels in this study were mothers who have in fants amounted to 51 people in Selorejo village, Mojowarno subdistrict, Jombang regency of the total pupolation of 253 people with engineering stratified random sampling. Variable in this study is the behavior of the mother in the prevention of dengue fever to children, instrumen in study uses the checklist, data processing with the editing, coding, scoring, tabulating. Based on the result of the study showed that as many as 26 postive respondents and contribute as many as 25 respondents negative role in the prevention of dengue fever to children. Conclusion from this study that the bulk of mothernal behavior in the prevention of dengue fever in infants majority positive behavior.rnKeyword:Behavior mother, Prevention, Dengue fever, Childrenrn
