Typhoid fever is a disease is still a serious in developing countries, especially provincial area east java.In rneast java rate occurrence typhoid fever in clinic and hospitals successive 4.000 cases per month. And rnfrom 1.000 cases per month by death rate 2 %.In typhoid fever patients infected by germs salmonella rntyphi supress any endotoxin on the outer germ of lipopolisakarida will spur macrophages and serves turn, rnneutrophils so neutrophils in circulation will enter to membranes consequently leukocytes in circulation rnis diminished.Caused by salmonella typhi typhoid fever and any endotoxin that stimulates synthesis and rndischarge substance in leukocytes pirogen by inflamed tissue. Next pirogen substance which blood rncirculates in central informthe termoregulator in the hypothalamus that caused the onset of the symptoms rnof fever.The purpose of this research is to find out the amount of leukocytes in typhoid fever sufferers in rnclinic of mojoagung.Design research used is descriptive.Population in this research is all of the patients rntyphoid fever that inpatient in clinic of mojoagung sample in this research is 28 typhoid fever patients rnwho inpatient in clinic of mojoagung taken as purposive namely compatible with the criteria. A variable rnin this research is the number of leucocytes. Data done through secondary data taken from examination rnhematology in people with typhoid fever in clinic of Mojoagung. After data collected done data rnprocessing by stages editing, coding and tabulating. Results of the study found that of the 28 people with rntyphoid fever (100%), there were 8 people with typhoid fever (28,57%) of the total number of leukocytes rnhave less than normal, there were 15 people with typhoid fever (53,57) that have the number of leukocytes rnare normal and there are 5 people with typhoid fever (17.85%) of that amount has more than normal. The rnconclusions from the results of this study indicate that the majority of people with typhoid fever in clinic rnof Mojoagung have the amount of leukocytes that are still within the normal range. Is expected in typhoid rnfever patients to maintain a healthy environment and the routine to check disease typhoid fever tha t under rnnormal circumstances.rnKeywords: Typhoid Fever, The Number of Leukocytes
