Borax have been prohibited its use by PerMenkes no.722/Menkes/Per/ix/88. rnThis research aimed at knows the presence of borax in sausage legi Jombang in the marketrnDesign research in this research is research descriptive. Population in this research is all a kind of rnsausage in the market legi Jombang (7 sausage). Samples taken by the use of total of sampling rntechniques and variabelnya is identification borax in sausage. Collecting data qualitative test rnconducted by using the method flames of fire. While data processing stage, wearing editing, coding, rnand tabulating.rnBased on an examination of identification borax in sausage in the market legi jombang can be inferred rnthat almost half (43%) containing borax. This is possible because it is still a lot of traders who want to rnget a big profit.
