Tomato Catsup is one of products including of processed food group or canned food withrnintermediate moisture food like fresh red porridge that made of tomato. Using RhodaminrnB to tomato catsup by some producers have a purpose to get profit and produce tomatorncatsup with more interesting colour. This research has a purpose to know that there isrnRhodamin B to tomato catsup sold in Legi Market Jombang. Research design isrndescriptive. Samples are taken from Legi Market Jombang with Population a number of 7rntomato catsup with different brand, samples use Total Sampling Technique. Variable inrnthis research is qualitative test of Rhodamin B to tomato catsup, Research instrumentrnuses data management by editing, coding, tabulating. Based on research result knownrnthat 3 (42,86%) tomato catsup are positive containing Rhodamin B and 4 (57,14%) arernnegative containing Rhodamin B. Based on qualitative checking, Rhodamin B containedrnin tomato catsup sold in Legi Market Jombang can be conclused that less of tomatorncatsup sold are positive contained Rhodamin B. In order that it is necessary to workrntogether with POM organization to monitor, control and evaluate periodically to knowrnusing of dye to food, also do checking up urgently in Jombang Markets, so that can berndone preventive actionrnKeywords : Identification, Rhodamin B, Tomato Catsup
