IDENTIFIKASI BAKTERI Shigella dysentriaernPADA AIR SUMUR BOR DI BANTARAN SUNGAI rnrn(Studi di Desa Candi Mulyo Jombang RT.05/RW.02)
Drill well was one of artificial wells made with drilling tools to achieve a enough well rndepth, so that it will meet with abundant groundwater source. Clean water did not rnnecessarily indicate that water from bacterial contamination, hygiene and bacterial rncontamination in water well very closely related to the surroundings of well. The rnpresence of bacteria in water source can be used as one of indicators of the rnbacteriological water contamination. One of the bacteria in water was Shigella rndysentriae bacteria. Shigella dysentriae was one causes of disease dysentery. The rnpurpose of this study was to know the presence or absence of Shigella dysentriae bacteria rnin artesian well water by using qualitative method.rnThis study used descriptive study, the population of this study was 30 artesian well which rnwas located on river bank, the sample of this study was 5 artesian wells taken by rnpurposive sampling. The variable of this study was Shigella dysenteriae. Instrument ofrnthis study was observation.rnBased on identification results of 5 samples of drill water was known 2 drill waters rnpositively contained Shigella dysentria bacteria, while 3 drill wells negatively contained rnShigella dysentria bacteria. The conclusion of this study was drill well water studied was rnbacteriological ineligible Permenkes RI No. 416/Menkes/per/IX/1990 about the rnrequirements of clean water quality. The regulation stipulated that bacteriological rncontent level on water was /100ml air. rnIf the contaminated drill water well was consumed without prior chlorination can cause rndysentery in consuming. So one of the efforts to suppress the occurrence of dysentery was rnby maintaining the cleanliness of well, irrigation canal, and cooking water till boiled and rncooking the food till 60°C-80°C for 30 minutes.rnKeywords: Shigella dysentriae, Drill well
