Diabetes mellitus is a group of metabolic diseases with characteristic hyperglycemia that rnoccurs due to abnormal insulin secretion, insulin action or both. Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 rnis caused the relative failure of β cell and insulin resistance. Blood glucose levels in rnpatients with uncontrolled Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 will lead to various one rncomplications is coronary heart disease is caused the triglycerides level in blood is rnheight. The general cause of triglycerides levels in blood height is the insulin resistance rnthat is condition when body cell not let the insulin or glucose entering to body cell or th e rninsulin not working maximum. The results, glucose and triglycerides assembled and rnheaped in blood. The purpose of this research was to analyze the significant difference of rntriglycerides levels in patients with controlled and uncontrolled Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.rnThis research was analytic comparational with the method of cross sectional. Samples in rnthis research were 60 patients with Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus ambulatory blood glucose rnchecked at Hospital Clinical Laboratory Jombang taken purposive sampling. Data rncollection was done in two ways, triglycerides levels examination in the laboratory and rnusing questionnaires. The independent variables were Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus, and the rndependent variable was triglycerides levels.
