Purpose of this study to determine the time expenditure and provision of maternal giving rncolostrum in Village Gabusbanaran District of Tembelang Jombang.rnDesign research is a descriptive study. Population were all of mothers postpartum inVillagernGabusbanaran District of Tembelang by 22 respondents. The independent variable was study isrnspending time and giving colostrums for mother postpartum. Data were collected by using arnquestionnaire. Then were analyzed by using editing, coding, scoring and tabulating in SPSS rnprogramme. rnThe results of research on spending time and giving colostrum women postpartum is almost half a rnpercent of postpartum maternal colostrum out in 25-48 hours after birth is 40.9%, a small fractionrnof postpartum maternal colostrum coming out at 2-24 hours after delivery 4.5%. While the rnprovision of nearly half of the respondents gave colostrum colostrum at time 48 hours after the birth (4.5%).rnConclusions in the study are almost the majority of the colostrum (first milk) postpartum womenrnout in 25-48 hours (day 2 to day 3) after childbirth. And timing of postpartum maternal colostrumrnis almost mostly less than 1 hour after delivery.
