ANALISIS KUALITATIF FORMALIN PADA BAKSOrn(Studi di Desa Candimulyo Kecamatan Jombang Kabupaten Jombang)
Formalin was banned food additives used in food, but it was still found in food such as Bakso. This rnstudy aimed to know the result of qualitative analysis of formalin in Bakso at Candimulyo VillagernJombang District Jombang Regency. rnThis study was descriptive. Population of this study was all selling Bakso at Candimulyo VillagernJombang District Jombang Regency as many as 17 Bakso. Sample was taken by using total rnsampling technique and the variabel was formalin in Bakso. Data collection was done by rnqualitative analysis using method of reaction formation color. Data processing used coding and rntabulating stage. rnThe study result of qualitative analysis of formalin in Bakso as many as 12 samples (70,6%) rnnegative did not contain formalin and 5 samples (29,4%) positive contained formalin. rnThis showed that there was about it (29,4%) positive containing formalin so be careful. This maybernbecause many traders who wanted to earn a huge profit. The Government was expected to enhance rnmore socialization about the dangers of formalin use to Bakso traders especially to consumers.rnKeywords: Qualitative analysis, Formalin, Bakso
