Stroke is a disease caused by an interruption of blood circulation in the brain that result in a person suffering from paralysis or death. In assisting stroke patients in the hospital, the family often experience anxiety state when individuals experience feelings of anxiety in respond to the threats that are not clear. Family anxiety is characterized by the patient's family looked nervous when accompanying stroke patients in hospital, decreased concentration, many families also asked the nurse. Preliminary studies showed 5 family members who accompany stroke patients experience anxiety. This study aims to determine Overview Family Anxiety Stroke Patients in Flamboyan Room of Jombang Hospital on July 7-12 2014.rnThis study used a descriptive design. The population used is All families of stroke patients in Flamboyan Room of Jombang Hospital totaling 66 person / month, samples are Some families of stroke patients who were 30. Sampling using consecutive sampling. While variable in this study is the description of the family anxiety stroke patients, collecting data using questionnaires DASS scale. Data processing techniques by way of editing, coding, scoring and tabulating. rnThe results of this study indicate that the description of the family anxiety of stroke patients in the Flamboyan Room Jombang Hospital mostly mild anxiety as many as 20 people (66%), mid anxiety 5 people (17%), no anxiety 5 people (17%), severe anxiety and very severe anxiety is not None (0%).rnThe conclusion of this study that the description of the family anxiety stroke patients in the Flamboyant Room of Jombang Hospital is mostly mild anxiety.rnrnKeywords: anxiety, family, strokern
